What is Confidence level?
A confidence level is Traceleaf's grading of how firmly a link between two entities is established: confirmed, inferred or suspected.

Why it matters
Supply-chain links are assembled from partial records, so publishing the strength of each link alongside it is what separates a traced chain from a guess.
